The Inspiration Behind Better Husband, Better Wife
Mecca and I met as singles who were interested in match making and decided to date one another! Since then, we have hosted events for singles, newlyweds, and married couples. We noticed that there was power in community of married couples who simply wanted their marriage to be better! We saw so many couples we looked up to have challenging times and need support to avoid separation and divorce.
So, we created Better Husband, Better Wife as the solution to provide monthly support to couples of all seasons (seriously dating, engaged, newly married and seasoned) to grow, develop and be better together. We aim to empower couples to communicate, connect, resolve conflict, parent, work as a team to develop couples goals to improve finances, support of life dreams and creating legacy. We decided to partner with other professionals to bring couples the best in quality, marital classes so that couples can stand the test of time and endure good times and bad from a Christian perspective while also provide therapeutic interventions for couples worldwide.
Meet Mecca Tartt
I'm Mecca Moore Tartt is in every essence of the word a “girls girl”. Her love of empowering women and creating safe spaces for women to come together has led to her hosting several events for women focused on Health/Wellness, Relationships, and Motherhood with the launch of her company BESTU LLC. This busy multi-tasking wife and mother of two beautiful girls shows women that its true “You Can Have It All!”.
Mecca Tartt has led a successful career in sales over the past 13 years while getting her start in Medical Device Sales and generating over 2 million in sales annually. She is currently the Executive Director of Startup Runway which connects investors with underrepresented tech startup founders.
Mecca a Power 30 Under 30 Recipient strives for excellence in all that she does and shows other women how to do it too. Mecca and her husband Dr. Alduan Tartt who started dating after hosting a matching making event, have created a platform to support married couples. They both share a passion of creating a network of support for married couples which has led to speaking on panels, participating in marriage retreats, hosting events, and now the launch of Married, Sexy, and Saved @marriedsexyandsaved

Meet Dr. Alduan Tartt
I'm Dr. Alduan Tartt, a Christian psychologist who has a passion for improving relationships. I want to personally welcome you to www.drtartt.com and pray that this website has a positive impact on your marriage whether you are currently single , seriously dating, engaged, married and/or going through a divorce.
I provide couples therapy, one-on-one relationship counseling, and marriage enrichment classes, retreats and events to provide the very best advice on relationships and marriage. Of course, I work with all faiths and support Christian marriage at the same time. Here is a little more about me...
Dr. Alduan Tartt is a graduate of Morehouse College and is the youngest African-American to receive his PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Tartt is also a licensed and ordained minister who promotes mental health, healthy relationships and healthy families. Dr. Tartt is a recipient of the NAACP award for a lifetime achievement in empowering youth and families. Dr. Tartt serves a frequent psychology expert for CNN, HLN, various media outlets including his personal YouTube channel which has garnered over one million total views.
Dr. Tartt is the resident psychology expert for Radio One and appears regularly on the Willie Moore Jr., KD Bowe, Darlene McCoy, Rickey Smiley and Café Mocha syndicated radio shows. Dr. Tartt previously co-hosted his own show, Love Addiction, on TVOne and has appeared as a psychology expert on ABC Nightline, MTV’s Made, VH1 Fantasia for Real, TVOne’s Black Men Revealed, BET’s 106 & Park, & Preachers of Atlanta and Gospel Touch TV. Dr. Tartt has served as a consulting psychologist for the Oklahoma City Thunder basketball team and group facilitator for the National Basketball Association.
Dr. Tartt has served on the Board of Directors for the 100 Black Men of DeKalb, Forever Family & The Gifted Education Foundation. He is author of The Ring Formula: How to Be the Only One He Ever Needs and is a contributing author for Saving Our Daughters (Volumes 1 &3) which focuses on female empowerment, bullying and pregnancy prevention.
Dr. Tartt manages a thriving psychology practice in Decatur, Georgia and hosts workshops on healthy relationships, marriages, parenting, healthy sexuality and conflict resolution across the country. He also serves on the prayer team and as the chapel pastor at Word of Faith Family Cathedral pre-school and elementary school. Dr. Tartt is happily married to the love his life (Mecca) and has two beautiful daughters (Raquel and Trinity).
